Management - Q1 Consult is concerned with the overall
planning and co-ordination of a project from inception to completion aimed at
meeting the client's requirements and ensuring completion on time, within cost
and to required quality standards. Project management is typically carried out
either by a private consultant or an employee of the project client. We manage
the production of projects with schedules and tasks associated with the project.
It often involves detailed expertise in many of the following areas: planning,
cost management, contract negotiations/procurement, technical writing
(proposals, etc.), research, technical development, information/computer
management, business development, corporate/administrative management, time
management, and others.

VoIP - Voice over IP - We also offer VoIP services. This is
ability of an IP network to carry telephone voice signals as IP packets in
compliance with International Telecommunications Union Telecommunication
Standardization Sector (ITU-T) specification H.323. VoIP enables a router to
transmit telephone calls and faxes over the Internet with no loss in
functionality, reliability, or voice quality. It is quite simply a way of
utilizing the Internet (or even in some cases Intranets) for telephone
conversations. The primary motivations for doing so are cost and convenience as
VoIP is significantly less expensive than typical telephone long distance
packages, plus one high speed Internet connection can serve for multiple phone
lines.

Open
Source Software - Open Source Software is software for which the underlying
programming code is available to the users so that they may read it, make
changes to it, and build new versions of the software incorporating their
changes. There are many types of Open Source Software, mainly differing in the
licensing term under which (altered) copies of the source code may (or must be)
redistributed. It allows for anyone with programming experience to revise and
change the programming code to suit their individual needs. It allows to fully
customize your settings. Many of today's popular software programs once started

Umbrella Company - Q1 Consult offers Umbrella Company facility to
Contractors. An Umbrella Company provides a ready-made invoicing vehicle for
contractors whilst also removing the administrative duties normally associated
with contracting in the form of a Personal Service Company. The Umbrella Company
normally issues invoices on the contractors behalf, collects payments from
clients/agencies, calculates tax and PPS contributions and pays the contractor
their net pay direct to their personal bank account.
Traditionally, Umbrella Companies were more expensive than running your own
Limited Company, mainly because their charges included all the administration
overheads, and they tended not to offer the same tax advantages. With the
introduction of IR35 the tax disadvantages of Umbrella Companies have been
reduced and a new breed of Internet based umbrella companies have emerged.
